Ugly Toad specialises in web design, web hosting, domain name registration, search engine optimisation. We are based in Canterbury, Kent but have clients from all over Europe.

All design work that we complete follows our design process route so that we can consistently produce websites that match the needs and requirements of our customers.

Step One - Market Analysis:

Firstly we will engage in thorough market research, examine your current market situation, and use that information to guide all of our design decisions and efforts.

Step Two - Usability study:

In this phase we will work closely with you to decide what should and shouldn't be included on your site, and to decide how your visitors are going to navigate around the site efficiently.

Step Three - Prototyping:

Now everything on the site starts coming together. We will work with you to develop a site layout, style, and navigation structure. This will usually be in the form of several mock up images of the site so that you can see the various possibilities for sites we could create that fit around the brief. This will allow you to see the site that you like and modify it with us. This way it's not "our" site - it's yours. One that you have actively had creative control over. This way you get to see now exactly what your finished site will look like, rather than just at the end of the project.

Step Four - Production:

With the final design in place, we now start optimising any graphics needed for the site, coding the pages into different web languages based upon your needs, and testing the site every step of the way to provide quality assurance.

Step Five - Go Live:

With the site completed, and having gained your final approval of the site, it's time for the project to go live. The site will be made available for general viewing by anyone using the internet.

Step Six - Site Promotion:

Now that your site is on-line we need to attract visitors. All web design projects we work on include free submission to major search engines, which is an ideal way to start promoting your site. There are various other methods of site promotion which can be discussed upon completion of the project.

Step Seven - Ongoing Support:

Your site is on-line. We have finished the design project. We will NOT abandon you! All the time you have your site we will be there to provide help and support - we're only a phone call, email, or fax away!
